Welcome to my Writing Studio!

Ive been waiting for you. The coffee pot is on and I baked some chocolate chip cookies.
I was afraid you wouldnt find your way over "the country roads" of Virginia to my chalet in the woods.

Glad you made it!
You can settle into the recliner, put your feet up, and Ill sit on the sofa. Lets talk books. I have some "new titles" that Id like to share with you. To me, books are a ministry first, not a business. I write my books from personal life experiences, sometimes difficult ones, because I believe God called me to help others going through similar trials. But I love to write biographies, too, and poetry, devotional books, helps for Christian writers, and stories of our adventures in China among the Christians.
Look over my bookshelves. What interests you? Or whom do you know who might need the message of some of my help-for-the-hurting books? Each title is linked to a Book Review so you can peek between the book covers before you buy it.
Be sure to read my Book Reviews by clicking on each book title. Here and there you will find "Hidden Surprise Discounts" to take advantage of. Have fun looking for them!
By the way, wont you join me on a tour of The Peoples Republic of China? Or a trip to my ancestral roots in The Czech Republic? You can do so through My Favorite Links
Dont miss the exciting "surfing the Web" adventures by clicking on GOSEARCH at the bottom of our Home Page.
I hope you will return often to see WHATS NEW. I have lots of plans for the months to come! New books, new poems, new stories to download and some SURPRISE EXTRAS. As a Mom/Grandma, of course Ill be sneaking in some photos of my family.
When the weather turns warm, Ill have a pitcher of ice tea for you instead of hot coffee, and well sit out on the deck or down by my pond. I welcome you in any season, but in the winter we may get snowbound. In fact, your car could disappear in the drifts as mine did. Bring your fishpole in summer. It's only a one-minute walk to my pond where we'll have a picnic.
By the way, I want you to meet my Calico cat, Charlotte SeVille. (I call her that because I got her in Charlottesville, Virginia.) She thinks I live with her--she doesnt live with me.
When Im packing and getting ready for some of my speaking trips, she is unhappy at the prospect of being left behind. She likes to settle in my carrying-books-case hoping Ill take her along. Charlotte likes to pounce on my computer "mouse" and catch the paper coming from my printer. Because her picture is now on the Web, she is one proud cat. Guess I'll have to call my site "Charlotte's Web"
You-all come back soon, hear?
