How Amazing!

By Esther Chunyi Wang
Edited by Leona Choy
Surviving Seventeen years
in a Chinese Communist prison
and labor camp.
An autobiographical sequel to Esther Wangs first book, His Mighty Power translated from the Chinese language and abridged for English readers.
Born into a Buddhist family, Esther was converted in a Christian school and as a young girl committed her life to serve the Lord. Touched by the plight of homeless, starving street children, she founded the Morning Star Orphanage in China, responsible for over sixty children.
Esther continues her life story with her arrest in 1949 as a political prisoner. Her crime? Accused of being an "anti-revolutionary" because of her Christian witness and activities in
Shanghai. This fascinating, true story took place during the Red Guard era and the Cultural Revolution.
A master storyteller, Esther shares intimate accounts of faithful Christians who suffered a martyrs death and Gods faithfulness during her own hardships and ordeals. Although broken in health, she survived to continue serving the Lord.
In her mid-eighties, Esther is actively preaching and teaching in Chinese churches throughout the United States and abroad, especially challenging youth to commit their lives to the Lord. An accomplished pianist, she has composed many well-known Chinese hymns.
